Through the storm...

On the baby front - Finally some relief! Second trimester has finally stablized and I am feeling like a normal human being again! Amelia was such an easy pregnancy - sunshine and rainbows. This time it has been an attack of the angries, moodies and just plain nasties! Buddy seems relieved to have a "stable" wife back, poor guy. The wee spawn was running a little "big" (i.e. 5 days) on the 13 week ultrasound, not quite enough to move my due date yet. Personally, I would prefer a bigger baby this time and to keep my due date put as it gives me more time if I go over!

The parental units - Buddy and I are finally over our winter bugs, although Buddy left for Phoenix this morning sniffling. We volunteered for MathCounts (think middle school Math Bee) Saturday and I actually ran into some former students who were competing. It was amusing to watch a room full of engineers grade math papers though. There was an answer key from the national chapter with ONE acceptable answer for EACH problem. However, the engineers took it upon themselves to work out the problems... is it pi or 1 pi??? Funny to watch!

Amelia - Is continuing her terrible two's but with a smile as she seems (knock on wood) to be over her winter sick season. She has taken to collecting bruises on her noggin lately as her feet are going faster than the rest of her sometimes! We may also have a budding interior decorator as she recently helped herself to Mommy's dry erase markers (color choice - black) and decorated the hallway and her baby dolls. An hour, several coats of paint and half a bottle of alcohol for the dolls and most of the "evidence" was removed! The markers which were in a zippered pouch are now in the cupboard too!

We are off to the Renaissance Fair with Buddy's family late this month! Will post the always hilarious photos from that trip when we can.
